Palaios Panteleimonas is a traditional settlement built at an altitude of 440 meters on the eastern slopes of Mount Olympus.
Red Water
On Kisavos, beside lacy fjords, there are the thermal waters of Red Water, therapeutic for many diseases. Close to them are waterfalls. Thus, on the one hand you hear the hum of the falling water and on the other listen to the waves of the sea.
Meteora
Meteora is a complex of huge, dark rocks of sandstone, rising out of Kalambaka near the first hills of Pindos and Hassia. The Meteora monasteries, built on the top of some of the rocks, are now the second most important monastic complex in Greece, after Mount Athos. Of the thirty monasteries, only seven operate today, which since 1988 have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Pelion
Pelion is a mountain in the Prefecture of Magnesia next to the city of Volos, at a height of 1,624 meters (the peak of the Purian Cross). In Greek mythology there was the summer residence of the gods and the homeland of the Centaurs. There is a skiing center apart from the endless beaches you can enjoy. Beautiful architectural villages adorn the mountain slopes.

A complex of islands combining a unique mixture of dense vegetation and turquoise and lacy coasts. A favorite destination of famous Hollywood stars. There is also a marine park dedicated to the protection of the seal and the dolphins.
Ampelakia
Ambelakia is a traditional settlement built on the northwest slopes of Mount Ossa at the entrance of the Tempi valley. The first cooperative form of work in Europe has operated here.

Vergina
Capital of ancient Macedonia. It became universally known in 1977, when the University Excavation of the Aristotle University, under the professor of archeology Manolis Andronikos and his colleagues, revealed the burial sites of the Macedonian kings and among the other graves and a funerary monument which, according to Andronikos was King Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. The discovery of these findings is believed by many to certify the position of the ancient city of Aigos, the first capital of the Macedonian kingdom.

Mount Athos
It includes twenty Sacred Monasteries and other monastic foundations and is unofficially characterized as “Autonomous Monastic State”. Since 1988, it has been listed as a World Heritage Site.

Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki was named after the sister of Alexander the Great. It was founded during the Hellenistic times. One of the largest ports in the Balkans.
It has always been a hub of different cultures: Jewish, Islamic, Christian. It was blunted during its history of refugee inflow. Today, it is the second largest city in Greece.
The city’s main sights from the Roman period are the Roman Forum (Ancient Agora), the Galerian complex and the temple of Aphrodite; from the Byzantine period the fortification walls, Byzantine temples and monasteries and Byzantine baths; from the Ottoman period the Ottoman mosques and baths; while many archaeological and other museums constitute its modern sights.

Veria
A city built from antiquity, at the foot of Vermio with waterfalls and rivers.
It is known for its traditional architecture and numerous Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches. Apostle Paul taught in Veria; his step can be found there and today we celebrate the “Paulia”. The traditional sweet of Veria is the famous “revani”.

Metsovo
In Metsovo there are the listed monuments of Virgin Mary’s Monastery, near the Metsovitiko River, the Monastery of St. Nikolaos south of the town and the Zoodochos Pigi Monastery in the place Kiatra Rosia (meaning in the local dialect Vlachika, red rock /lithari/). The town also has a remarkable Folklore Museum and a winter ski center, which in combination with the picturesque scenery is an attraction for many visitors. It is also famous for its livestock products, its wines and its Art Gallery.
